bobbymcgee Posted July 28, 2011 Report Posted July 28, 2011 Not that big of a loss this season because he won't see much playing time behind David Green

I'm sure that Coach Nelson would have been a little more comfortable having Brisco to go to if David's knee started acting up.For Coach Hobbs at Legacy, this is a heck of a pickup.

Coach Schrapps Posted July 28, 2011 Report Posted July 28, 2011 This isn't a surprise...kid tried to come to Kelly but would have been the backup.
liltex Posted July 28, 2011 Report Posted July 28, 2011 To lose your back-up QB is a big deal.Means you gotta teach somebody else the playbook and give them some gametime exp.JB had some exp.as the reserve QB.A + for Legacy and a - for Ozen ;) :o 8)

As my understanding is that it is about a 6 month recovery period for those types of repairs, he is right about the point to where he would be released to continue full speed. But you still never know how that thing will react.
BMTSoulja1 Posted July 28, 2011 Report Posted July 28, 2011 Spoke with my reliable Ozen source. Trey Green is a go by the season opener. The problem is what will happen if he is re-injured. Who will be the backup QB? I think Ozen will be fine reguardless. They have athletes in abundance over there in the Pear Orchard. They will find someone to plug in there.

Look-out 20-4A ;) ;D

Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted July 28, 2011 Report Posted July 28, 2011 LOL @ Weak Brooke, their roster got a little shorter with those smart kids transferring to Legacy. 8)
Alpha Wolf Posted July 31, 2011 Report Posted July 31, 2011 WOW!!! Good pick ups and keep up the good work Coach Hobbs. Pretty soon the football team will over shadow the basketball team over there, I know a coach that won't like that...
Gasilla Posted August 1, 2011 Report Posted August 1, 2011 Ozen has a Sophomore over there that is going to end up with that QB job anyway. His last name is James and he is a great player. Used to live in Orange, but now plays for Ozen. You will hear about him soon.
