For me it was Silsbee vs Lincoln 1995 playoffs in Beaumont and Lincoln vs Brenham 1995 Playoffs.

1987-Nederland defeated West Brook for the 1st (and maybe only) time. Brian English lead the Dogs with 25 pts. The gym was packed, and the court was stormed after the game.

I am not aware of WOS playing Bay City in those years in the basketball playoffs.

I'm not sure if they did or not either. I just remember a local team played Bay City ( in the mid-late 80's) led by LaBradford Smith, and both teams stalled the entire game. The final score was extremely low. I don't think either team scored more than 29 points.

The scores in those '85 and '86 games with Bay City and Silsbee were in the 60's.

I do believe the game you are referring to was a PA Lincoln vs. Bay City game in '86.

That's probably the game I'm thinking about. I remember there was a lot of hype around it, then everyone was surprised at the low score.

2007 regional finals HJ vs. Silsbee, Hawks win in double overtime by 3 I think...Both teams refused to give up....
2009 HJ vs. Estacado in Austin to see who makes it to the state championship Hj looses by 2 I think in double OT....

For me was 2009 Nederland beats Central in OT for first time.  I have to admit I am biased because JP made the last second jumper for the tie and then got the last second steal from Gulley to seal the deal.
