stevenash Posted August 1, 2011 Report Posted August 1, 2011 Do you mean like "change we can believe in"?
AggiesAreWe Posted August 1, 2011 Author Report Posted August 1, 2011 [quote name="sleepy" post="1030319" timestamp="1312222732"]Not at all. Have a lot of good friends over there in Silsbee. ST413 Posted August 1, 2011 Report Posted August 1, 2011 Two good players at this height could be huge for the Tigers but it all depends on who the coach to is and how well all the kids adapt to that coach and his style.

I will bet there are plenty of well qualified coaches who would like to have that opportunity.

This year, at least 85% of the varsity basketball team will play football, including the transfers. Of the top 12 players on varsity, 10 will be playing football.
sleepy Posted August 1, 2011 Report Posted August 1, 2011 transfers or no transfers silsbee is going to be very good just like they are every other year. remember for the last 5 years people have said HJ was going to have a down year. A down year for a program like Silsbee is make a deep run in the playoffs so transfers are irrelevant.

sleepy Posted August 1, 2011 Report Posted August 1, 2011 That happens to every school every now and again but Silsbee is consistently a contender and will be again. Just a fact of the matter.
PoppaBearstarr Posted August 2, 2011 Report Posted August 2, 2011 Yes they will with their recruiting base they will always be in contention... ;) ;D :D
stevenash Posted August 2, 2011 Report Posted August 2, 2011 Recruiting base may be good but the fund flowfrom the alums has slowed a little with the decline in the economy
BADSANTA Posted August 9, 2011 Report Posted August 9, 2011 If those kids can play im more than sure Silsbee can get back to the Regionals. Sealy and HJ will be tough to beat as well.

BADSANTA Posted August 10, 2011 Report Posted August 10, 2011 Only if it comes with a strong salary, benefits, vacation, and company car.

BADSANTA Posted August 10, 2011 Report Posted August 10, 2011 Did you see the stock market last week? That's why! Badsanta likes perks as well.
Master T Posted August 11, 2011 Report Posted August 11, 2011 Has it been confirmed that both of the new transfer will be playing guaranteed?

BADSANTA Posted August 11, 2011 Report Posted August 11, 2011 Yes it seems according to my sources they will be able to play since they did a summer transfer for none athletic reasons. The kid for New Orleans I don't know much about. Has anyone seen him play?

Master T Posted August 11, 2011 Report Posted August 11, 2011 I have personally seen the kid that transferring from P.A play basketball. He has a high basketball I.Q. Very smart and know how to play as an all around player. Good additions to the team.
Lazeek Posted August 11, 2011 Report Posted August 11, 2011 I am hearing that he is having trouble with staying eligible and that is why he moved to live with his dad.
