Big 12 Places 1 year moratorium on HS football broadcast and content

Recommended Posts

A&M beat OU, Nebraska, and UT last season with a QB that had less than 6 starts last year and a young team. So I guess those three teams would really suck in the SEC. A&M lost to  Arkansas ( a very good SEC team) by 7 while j. Johnson was still the QB. And we all know he was benched for the season a couple of games later. A&M lost to a great LSU team by 17, and the game was close well into the 3rd quarter, again with an inexperienced QB who made some bad mistakes in the 2nd half. LSU is a NC contender in everyones book and A&M will be ranked somewhere around 12th when the polls come out this season. Buddy are you telling me A&M couldn't beat Vandy, Ole Miss, Georgia, SC, Miss State and compete with the others this season? Doesn't say much for the OUs, Nebraskas,( big 12 last year), UTs,and the rest of the Big 12 if one of their top teams coming into the season couldn't win 4 games in the SEC!! ;D

Aggies u are wrong about 6 out of last 7.
And oldtimer I have some ocean front property in Arizona for you

Lsu 27-20-3 vs aggies

Yes.....I looked that up yesterday. Aggies beat them 5 out of the last 7. That being said all 5 wins were in the early 90s (91-95 maybe). Since UT fans are in a time machine talking about a 2005 National Championship in Football maybe we could say they are in their DeLorean when speaking of beating LSU in the early 1990's.

I agree with oldollie......across the board they have had a good year.......lets see if it continues. I have not been ignoring your question ollie.......aggy is something that started in my family......my dad was UT and his twin brother was a boot wearing corp turd back when aTm was an all male school. I had a Texas Tech guy running a lawn service crew mowing my yard. He had 2 aggies doing the mowing and one was trying to give the other a flat top with the weed wacker......I sprayed them with the water hose and got them stopped. I apologize for the delay..... ;D

Buddy, You would not be the only one to blame A&M. :D But I believe that is exactly what UT wants. Lets push our network and our weight around until someone leaves, blows up this conference, we go indy and whoever leaves first gets the blame. And if not we get everything we want in this conference. This Network was setup for UT to go independent, just when it happens I don't think they arfe in a hurry, but they know it is going to happen! But if A&M gets what they want, I don't think they care if they get blamed! ;)

I heard the horns may leave the big 12 and go independent soon.......my best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Mack Brown last night at Chick-fil-A and Mack told her he don't need no stinking conference affiliation.... ;D

It would be a mess if the Big 12 implodes.  On the LSU front – LSU was one of the schools that really did not want A&M in the SEC last time but was out voted.  The fact is that the SEC wants games in the state of Texas but really does not want Texas (the University) so that puts A&M in a strong position.  Why do they not want Texas – who knows – could be they know Texas likes to be control  ;D or they know that Texas has the richest athletic program in the country and they do not wish to compete with that ;).  But the fact is if the SEC can get games on Texas soil they will – period.
By richest do you mean under achieving consistently....A&M has won more national championships over the last several years than UT..
Yes - but the topic is FOOTBALL where your example is neither true nor valid.
When someone say's that school "A" has the richest athletic program in the country and they do not wish to compete with that. I take that as it is written Athletic programs = all sports...or all athletic events, so my points are true and valid.

When I said richest I meant they make more money $$$$$$$ then any other school on the country - well at least the top 3 - last time I checked.  I really  think that A&M does more (better overall program recently) with less ($$$$$).  And Team First you better hold onto that property cause when your wrong you may need a place to stay.

I just think that it is funny how people think that A&M never was invited to the SEC - Hell it was verified by the president of OU right after it happened.
