Why next week?  Is that Monday or Friday? The sooner the better?

Okay, how about by mid-week?  ;D

I just think he has a couple of hurdles to manage first, then he will join the team. Could be as early as Monday, but as late as Friday, but either way it's next week. ;) ;D

Disagree. But have a strict one strike you're out policy.

That's usually the rule that most schools stick to in regards to a transfer.. Hard to turn down a guy from Arkansas.

i hope he turns it around, but would be surprised if he did. if he couldn't do the things he needed to do to be on prime time tv on saturdays, why would he do them now to play on a much smaller stage? his brother has enough money to keep them both happy. with that said, if he does decide to put it together, he would DOMINATE at this level.

On Campus:
Greg Oden’s Bro Lands at FBS Lamar

Former Arkansas offensive lineman Anthony Oden will play football at Lamar University, an FBS school in Texas.

Oden was booted from Arkansas in the wake of a second arrest in the last year. He was pinched and charged with DWI and possession of a controlled substance on July 9.

Oden is the younger brother of Greg Oden, a former Ohio State basketball star and current Portland Trail Blazers center.

With three years of eligibility remaining at his new school, Oden will be able to play right away. He was expected to compete for a starting job with the Razorbacks.

The 6-foot-8, 380-pound Oden missed all of last season with mono. While he’s no longer in the SEC, at least it looks like Oden will be on the field this fall.

He cannot run from these charges.  Sooner or later he has to go to court.

    • I personally hope PN-G gets 2nd gets to the 2nd round wins the flip against SOC and drag them them to Houston to play
    • I like option number two, PNG and Nederland both win. Nederland i’ll be the district champion, number 1 seed or whatever you want to call it. Yes I know that if two or three teams tie with the same record, they will be called co-champions and everyone gets a trophy. One team however will go in as the first place team in district and will play the fourth place team in the bi-district round. If PNG and Nederland both win, Nederland will be #1. • Virginia has same day voter registration. A person can literally walk in to the voting location, register and then vote. So the premise that Virginia might be stopping people with a legitimate right to vote is nonsense. From what I gather in the news report, assuming that the ones I have read are correct, the people that were removed, filled out a drivers license registration and marked that they were not an American citizen. Could the person have made a mistake bychecking the box incorrectly? Although unlikely it is certainly possible. That same person who was removed can go into the same voting location where he would have voted and again, complete a voter registration and then vote.  That went into the Supreme Court’s decision.  If such a person votes by registering on election day, he fills out a provisional ballot. Provisional ballots are not originally counted and or not counted unless needed. For example….  Statewide there are 500 provisional ballots cast. A person wins the election by 4,000 votes. That would be no need to count the provisional ballots as it will not matter. Then let’s say there are 5,000 provisional ballots cast in the election. One candidate then wins the election by only 1,500 votes. In that case, the election could definitely swing on those provisional ballots. The state will then investigate each person to make sure they live at the correct address listed and that they are American citizens. If these things are correct, the vote will then be counted. Safe Harbor is not untillll…… I think December 17th this year so there will be six weeks to verify the provisional ballots if needed. The purging of the names of people who checked a state form saying that they were not an American citizen, will not stop that same person from voting.
