2011-2012 Burkeville mustangs

So anyone have any information of how they lookin this year? come on boys i know yall get on here, im still gunna drive down for a couple games ;)

Watched them practice today, they will be rebuilding next few years.

Burkeville has 4 open dates, wow.

While i was at there practice Coach Dzuik was on phone with Buna and looking for more games not sure whats gonna happen. Gonna suck to jus play 6 or so games.  :-\

They had a problem when Coach Hamilton basically had just 9 games scheduled last year and one of those was Chester, who in the summer of last year opted for 6man.  So that left them with 8.  Then this year, Deweyville dropped them in favor of a game with High Island, so that dipped the game total to 7.

One contact that Coach Dziuk could make is with Summit Christian in Cedar Park.  According to the TAPPS website they have open dates on  Sept. 16, Sept. 30, and Oct. 28, which are all dates that are open dates for Burkeville.

Excellent suggestion! I would even take it one step farther, do a "home and away". That would fill two holes for both teams. I want every player in the state of Texas to get the maximum Friday night experience possible during the season.

They are doing that with Legacy, so they are not adverse to doing that over there and that would give them 9.  I agree with you Buc, I'd like to see a team get as many games as is allowed.
