Scrimmage Expectations

What do you want to see out of your team in their first scrimmage?  What are the expectations?

I also have a real interest in how our O/L looks, because a lot hinges on that for the Pirates to be as successful as they need to be to make a playoff run!

Almost as good as the 7 on 7 wins!

Most teams will stay very base on offense and defense. I just look for technique, effort, and maybe some kids steppin up that wasn't expected.

1. Injury free.
2. Hard work & discipline.
3. Determination.
4. I wanna see that all of the conditioning has paid off.
5. Be more prepared & look better than Manvel.

No injuries and good fundamentals being exhibited.  Wanna see how the o-line does.  Very few penalties and fumbles.  Those hurt us in the title game last year.

I think it will be good with the first teamers against each other. The problem for 4A programs are when you go to second teamers, it drops off a bit. Alot of unknowns for the NDNS this year. We'll see though. A preview huh, like the Titans going in as the #4 team and getting beat first round? ;D

Actually, the Titans went as far in the playoffs as PN-G.  They may have went farther, if i'm not mistaken.

They only made the playoffs cuz 2/3 of there district goes. (they were 4th, so they barely did that)  All you have to do is finish better than Sterling & Channelview! ::)
