Hardin vs. Beaumont Kelly Scrimmage Thread/Post comments here!

A total domination on the offensive side of the ball for Kelly. Will Darling was 12/12 with 5 passing touchdowns. Nick Barber had 2 touchdowns, one which was a 55 yd touchdown run. Whether it be on the ground or via air, Kelly executed it's plays with precisions and effectiveness. Besides for one blown coverage which resulted in a Hardin touchdown, Kelly's defense held Hardin to under 50 yards total offense and was physically in charge of the game the entire time. Looking like it's going to be a good year in Bulldog Country!!

[/quote]I tell you what it was nice seeing Larry Haynes throw up the white flag when they were suppose to play a whole other 15 minute quarter. The bulldogs looked really good on both sides of the football minus the blown coverage at the beginning of the game. I think Kelly will be decent this year. Contests to the new coach he looks like he is doing a heck of a job

No doubt Kelly dominated Hardin, but the 15 minute live quarter was played I sat there and watched it, and as for the person who said Will Darling was 12/12 he wasn't. I dont know his exact numbers but I watched many of those balls hit the ground and some bounce of the WR hands and if it was anybody elses secondary out there he would of thrown numerous interceptions, Hardin was weak it was like watching 1st team Offesne play against JV so don't praise Kelly too much.

Clearly you were watching a different game than was being filmed. I personally have watched the scrimmage film several times, and Will did not have a single incomplete pass. How about you get your facts straight before making ignorant comments. Thank you

I dont understand, are you faulting Kelly for being crisp and able to run the majority of their playbook? In 7 on 7 Kelly runs game plays, not 7 on 7 plays so that is why they are so far along. Add that with the fact that they return their starting tailback, fullback, and #1 Wide Receiver, not to mention the fact that Darling played in several games last season when Eddins went down and you can see why Kelly was the better team. Surprised to hear that Hardin didn't "win the JV scrimmage, they have had some good junior high teams as of late.

Kelly did what they were suppossed to.  With I heard 18 seniors and a returning backfield.  Great job, they looked good. Coach Long did a great job when he was there to prepare these boys and the new coach should continue it.  I thought Hardin's JV looked better, but its all a matter of opinin since there is no scores.    Good luck against Liberty.

Haha maybe it was the backup that was throwing terrible passes?, but Schrapps makes that kid look good he's no Tom Brady.

Nope, the backup was 3/3. Yes, the throws were not great... but the receivers for Kelly were able to make plays on the ball. The long touchdown schnapps caught, he out jumped a kid who was just as tall as he was. This kid was also Hardin's best player. Great receivers make good quarterbacks, just like great linemen make good running backs. Thats why they call it a team sport. Look for Kelly to do big things this season.

I look for another good game this year when Liberty travels to Kelly's home field.

I wonder when was the last time Hardin lost to Warren?

Maybe one of the Adminstrators can assist me, in this question?

I can't remember Hardin losing to Warren, maybe once in twenty years ????

As far as Kountze, the game will be in Hardin and I don't believe the Hornets will let that one slip away.

So yeah, 3-7.....wins over Kountze, WH, and Warren. Sounds good to me!
