West Hardin vs. Burkeville Scrimmage Thread/Post comments here!

Didn't get a chance to make this scrimmage, but I was told by several people that West Hardin is looking pretty good.  They scored 3 to 0 over Burkeville.  West Hardin seemed to have a good turn out this year of players.

I'll be going to next weeks scrimmage, so I'll be able to gather some better information to pass along. 

Legacy will be coming to West Hardin, I understand that they should be considerably better than last year.  I hear their coach is getting some better talent in.  We'll see!!!

The Stillwell kid from Burkeville broke his wrist. Out 4 to 5 weeks

I was at the scrimmage West Hardin scored 3 td's but one was called back and Burkeville scored 1.. Sorry that the Stilwell boy broke his arm. They all played a great game and West Hardin looked good.

I think West Hardin's team is focused. And they looked good Friday. They will be able to play with any opponent they face.  Not sure that H-D is a major concern at this point.

Thanks for the update. Is burkeville still running the wishbone or have they changed it up with the new coach.

I understand there is a heated rivalry there.. But there are alot of games before the concern of H-D comes along. They are focused on the task at hand. One step at a time to achieve a goal.

I am from West Hardin just love to watch the Lumberton Raider Games. You haven't seen a high school game unless you expiernce the train horn being blown on a touch down or the PNG Indian doing his dance .. Football is an amazing game no matter the opponents.  But my heart lies in the Oilfields and on that Oiler Field X 2
