over heating

There is a good segment on MSN running today on general lack of "practicing in the heat" policy by the governing boards of most little league football organizations. I was just talking to my fellow coaches last night on our policy which is break early break often for water. How does your coaches and or league handle it. By the way a total of 8 players and coaches have died this year in TEXAS alone.

You said it...break often & hydrate those boys!  That's what we do too.  Coaches, don't be shy.  You need the fluids too!

100% correct.  I would like to add that the parents and anyone else watching the game needs to be hydrated too!
