Guest bleed orange
I would not be happy if I was from Hamshire Fannett. They came in second and only had 2 players on the list. Now they did have some on the honorable mention list. If you count honorable mention which I do Silsbee had 10 players in all. Wow they should have won state with that many.
revfaulk
the 3a district normally has a really bad way of picking their all district picks. it used to be that friends would make friends happy.... how about just letting them be CO-MVP or outside hitter.... whatever. it really watered down the picks. they were trying to give awards to everyone. this seems to be a pretty fair list. they didn't have many from kirbyville, jasper, hj.... but all of the starters from h-f were better than any starter from wos, kirbyville, jasper, so that is a real bad "oversight" if you can call it that. mactiger
i am not sure this list is complete. I heard there were more HF girls than this list indicates. I believe Silsbee ended up with 9 players on the list, not 10.
Guest bleed orange
I believe Silsbee had one girl make Honorable mention. If you count that it makes 10. Your right that list above is wrong. I went to Kogt.com and it shows 8 girls from HF counting honorable mention. Its more even now. I was wrong, HF should not be mad or any other school. mactiger
Silsbee still only has 9 girls on the team including the one who made honorable mention. I think you are counting Coach Thornton's honor as Coach of the Year in your count of our girls.
