In my opinion, parents are the utter destruction of many a football team. Coaches do a method of employment that is literally unthankful and often times bounderish by many parents.

I believe that most coaches try to play the best players but I am sure at some schools and in some instances are influenced by parents. This should never be the case, but it happens. I think the main thing IMO, is that kids play out of position.

[/quote]Sure, a lot of kids play out of position. But thats one of the major reasons you have parents getting involved because a *few* want their " little Johnnys " at the skill positions. ;)

Some of the parents and fans can be major distractions. I have come across some habitual line steppers and it really can drive a coach nuts. Let the coach do his job!!!
