Red Fish Freak Posted August 19, 2011 Report Posted August 19, 2011 Hey Coop, looking at invest 97L and it's path. Do we need to keep a close eye on this one or will the high keep it away?
Guest baseball25 Posted August 19, 2011 Report Posted August 19, 2011 Has to develop first, the dry air is getting to it right now, long range model runs aren't to good, its been showing everywhere from texas to the east coast this week in the model runs, let this thing develop first and we can go from there. Some hints that the high this time next week could to start to weaken and we also could see a pattern change in sept and if that happens that means storms could be pulled up towards us. We shall see!!! but ill give u some website model runs https://my.sfwmd.gov/sfwmd/common/images/weather/plots/storm_97.gifhttp://flhurricane.com/images/2011/clark9latest.pnghttp://www.wunderground.com/tropical/tracking/at201197_model.htmlhttp://hurricanetrack.com/
Red Fish Freak Posted August 19, 2011 Author Report Posted August 19, 2011 Thanks basketball25 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Guest baseball25 Posted August 19, 2011 Report Posted August 19, 2011 no problem, its going to all depend on if the trough can pick the storm up, if not then we couldbe in trouble but we will see, it might have to go over the high mountains of hispanola and storms usually don't survive that!!!
Guest baseball25 Posted August 21, 2011 Report Posted August 21, 2011 Looking like fl and maybe eastcoast
Red Fish Freak Posted August 21, 2011 Author Report Posted August 21, 2011 Lets just hope it makes the turn north. I will feel alot better once it does. I still think it might be a little early to make a good call.
Guest baseball25 Posted August 21, 2011 Report Posted August 21, 2011 I think it will be a good call!!!!! there is going to be a weakness in the ridge so it will pull northwardhttp://www.wunderground.com/tropical/tracking/at201109_model.html
Bulldog92 Posted August 21, 2011 Report Posted August 21, 2011 Looks like Miami could get hit pretty hard by this thing. It's ironic that the scandal broke for the Hurricanes at the same time. They may not have much of a stadium to play in if that thing gets as strong as some of the models suggest that it could.
