Baseball Man Posted August 19, 2011 Report Posted August 19, 2011 Everyone says the struggled with them. from the stands i did not see that both teams scored once and warren only got there score on Evadales 2nd D warrens first O had only 25 yards on them through there first two drives and Evadale 50 on just there first one so i am still trying to find where they where struggling at

WOSgrad Posted August 19, 2011 Author Report Posted August 19, 2011 Just got off of the phone and there has been a change....Sabine Pass will also be involved in the scrimmage.We believe that Kountze's and Evadale's 1st teams would scrimmage and Kountze's 2nd team will scrimmage against Sabine Pass.

Q - Evadale vs. Kountze 1st team

Kountze then drove 55 yards for the TD to take a 6-0 lead with 6:00 left in the period.

And losing the starting QB before the season started is going to take a few games to weed out just who is going to take that spot. Still they will make the playoffs :(

whambulance Posted August 22, 2011 Report Posted August 22, 2011 Evadale has been flying high for the last 3 years coming off 3 straight district titles; over these last 3 years there have been some quality players (close to 35, I think) graduate and left some big holes. And 35 in a 1A school is a TON! That, and given that the would be statring QB decided to go basketball only, that's a load to over come.The Rebs will get it ironed out when it counts.Congrats to Kountze and Dale on a good start to the early season.
