BMTSoulja1 Posted August 19, 2011 Report Posted August 19, 2011 That pretty much summed it up, although I would have used a more 'colorful' version of it. To clean it up a bit, our offense got Punked out.

WOSgrad Posted August 19, 2011 Report Posted August 19, 2011 Now that is the La Marque I remember, smothering defense.
BMTSoulja1 Posted August 19, 2011 Report Posted August 19, 2011 I'm crying from the fumes of the strong insecticides that are en route to the 'Ant Mound'.

Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted August 19, 2011 Report Posted August 19, 2011 Wait a minute, jags offense stayed in the fieldhouse during the scrimmage?? That doesn't bode well for next Friday.

We would have scored at least twice with the offense we have.
tailgater Posted August 20, 2011 Report Posted August 20, 2011 One ray of sunlight here was that the Jaguar 1st team defense did not allow LaMarque to move the ball. Their offense struggled against a Jaguar young defense. That's a thought to remember.
Jackthehammer Posted August 20, 2011 Report Posted August 20, 2011 I hated to see this Central has sorta become one of more favored teams in SETX. I can honestly say that I dont really care for the Coogs that much. One thing that has been constant over the last few years is that Central immproves all season each season.

And PNG isn't a 5A school.
BLUEDOVE3 Posted August 20, 2011 Report Posted August 20, 2011 This is what happens when you play with the *Big Dogs* ;D
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted August 20, 2011 Report Posted August 20, 2011 That scrimmage was suspect twocents. Both teams really didn't have the chance to show anything.
BigWolf10 Posted August 20, 2011 Report Posted August 20, 2011 In 08 My jags were down early but rebounded and made playoffs. 09 we were not picked to do much, we challenged for the dist title. 2010 we got stumped by PAM and WB but won dist title. I really think we'll have a good season. Considering we're so young, time is all we need. Go Jags

Perhaps both teams didn't show everything in their arsenals but by chance did you look at the final stats and also consider T. Wright didn't even suit up? We have that Ball transfer (Brooks) who is like a snowball rolling downhill and if need be Jacore Aldridge is quite adequate in place of TW. Aldridge may play more (slot) receiver than RB so that's yet to be determined? The last time we had a stable of RB's like we have this year were the 95, 96 & 97 seasons so I'm optimistic at our chances of heading back to Arlington? No offense intended towards the Central fans...especially you Soulja! cougar2011 Posted August 21, 2011 Report Posted August 21, 2011 Lol. Would you really call it a slap in the face? It was only a scrimmage. If it was a full game... i cant even imagine what the score would be.. Don't wanna over exaggerate here but I would say it wasn't that bad a lose compared to what it could have been. 8)
