Lol. Would you really call it a slap in the face? It was only a scrimmage. If it was a full game... i cant even imagine what the score would be.. Don't wanna over exaggerate here but I would say it wasn't that bad a lose compared to what it could have been.  8)
So your saying if it would of been a real game that the coogs would of really  kick some butt , huh !  " Now thats a slap in the face " The Coogs have a great team no doubt!  One of the rare schools with 3a numbers that have 40 players on their roster that could play on most 5a teams and that being said with only 9 band members ( do the math before you get to pompous )
Had it been a regular game, We would have lost.  I'm also confident that there would have been other plays that would have worked.  We have speed just like they do and we're capable of breaking a big play or 2.  Nevertheless, we would have lost a real game by at least 3 scores, IMO.

LOL....wayyyyyyy too early for me to rile up the few Dayton homers. I'm sure down the road we'll get there by regular seasons end but I find it quite entertaining to say the least...all in good fun!

I'm saying if it were a real game the score would be even higher than it was, i'm thinking 5 to 6 scores at the most.. But what ever the case, Central's defense would have had an unmistakable hand print on their faces (if it were a real game). This scrimmage was a basic run-thru for both teams. I was trying to give you guys confidence saying it wasn't that bad a loss. lol But this is just my opinion, don't take it to heart.
Wow!  You gathered a 6 score victory based off of a scrimmage in August?  By the way, you do know that 2 or 3rd team defenses and offenses would not have been in the game.  Again, I do admit.  We would have lost, but you don't do it by 6 scores.  Thats talking foolish.
Considering Central only had 1 first down the entire scrimmage, or so i read, I summed up 5 scores to be the MOST not the LEAST that La Marque could have scored in a real down. They play hard all 4 quarter and traditionally harder in the 4th than any other. But once again, this is just my opinion base off previous knowledge and what i've seen in practices. Don't take it to heart, but also don't forget that this is a playoff caliber team. Their success will come down to how well they use what they have and if they can avoid injuries late in the season. No disrespect intended.
8) 8) 8) 8)  Good luck on yall's march to state.  With that defense, there will be a lot of frustrated O-Coordinators in yall's path.

Wait a minute, jags offense stayed in the fieldhouse during the scrimmage?? That doesn't bode well for next Friday.
I'm pretty sure memorial's offense wouldn't have moved either had they been in the same situation.
I don't know about that. We would have scored at least twice with the offense we have.
Idk about that. Yall only scored once and had two field goals on a PNG defense and PNG isn't ranked 5 in the state. And PNG isn't a 5A school.
That's only because we decided to work on the passing game. We could have ran the ball all night on the Indians, but we were working on game tempo and getting our new receivers involved. So don't worry my Titans will bring plenty of offense Friday.
