Nederland vs. WOS Prediction...

Let's be real clear here, WOS is who it is as much for Cornell Thompson as for any other human being that ever worked their.  WOS won't be outplayed, they may not win, but losing by anything more than a TD is a stretch.  Plus Dog fans need to realize that our little friends from across the bridge have owned our butts for three decades...cept for a little stint when... huh, Mr. Thompson wasn't involved.  Going to be a war, get ready.

[/quote] I love the way just a couple of people predicted a Bulldog blowout and all the stang fans are up in arms. The truth is both teams were exposed in some areas and the coaches on both sides are looking for this to be a good building block to get ready for district. But hey, thats what this site is all about. Either people are taking certain post's personal or they are too busy kissing the moderators butts. Either way the kids will decide the game.  :P

I just remember losing to them, and it seemed like they won district JUST ABOUT every year starting in 1986 (I think that was when they joined 20-4A) through 2000. I'm sure WOSgrad has that information somewhere.  :)

We've done that before, and it's not satisfying. In 1988 and 1989, we outplayed WO-S for 20 min and 39 min, only to lose both of those games. I'm not sure what you mean by winning the 1st half, but from my experience, that does no good.

like i said before this is going to be a good game maybe a nail bitter at the end who knows. yes the kids there at wo-s do have two of there top (D) players hurt but that we as wo-s fans will and should not use if we do get beat. now with that being said on the flip side i do like the new no huddle and run the (I)  are the spred who knows what coach thompson will come up with in this game best of luck to both teams, PS turnovers might be the key in this game nederland can not  give the mustangs a short field -------------------sorry for the spelling

We were in 20-4A from 1986-2003 (18yrs) of those 18 we were Champs or Co-Champs 10 of those years.

We were only in the district for 2 seasons once Central dropped. Both of those we were 8-2 and missed the playoffs both years due to tie breakers. We went 1-1 against Central during that span (we are 8-2 vs Central total).

Yeah, you're right...they just sat on their own 5 yard line and were so depressed about going the length of the field twice.  A 17-0 hole was just too much.  :'(
