TOUPS GRAPHICS HIGHLIGHTS

Recommended Posts

Got back from taking 24,000 pictures at Camp Cayuga, my summer camp job, and BAM!  Mr. Toups is now teaching 6th and 7th grade math on two campuses.  Getting one classroom ready for school is tough, but how about two.  Anyways...  I still am planning on following the Dayton Broncos and updating my site three times a week.  I just updated http://www.toupsgraphics.com/fridaynightlights.html with this weeks games.  Normally on Tuesday I give previews of the upcoming weeks games, on Thursday I release my FEARLESS PREDICTIONS and on Saturday I give the results for the games.  Sorry I haven't got the site up and running, but my first priority has always been my teaching job, and that is taking so much of my time now.  That being said, GOOD LUCK TO YOUR TEAM THIS YEAR!!!  A few "tidbits" to tease you with...  The Bronco Stampede will continue, the Eagles will soar to new heights, the Indians tomahawk gets sharpened, and the Jaguars will keep Soulja smiling.

I am planning on posting my predictions tonight.  Don't know if this is true, but each year of teaching the first week gets a little tougher mentally and physically on your body.

Hey PURPLE 4EVER looking forward to your fearless predictions, Not that I'm sitting at my computer in my BVDs, idly watching the clock or anything.... :D,  but your 2010 prediction record 74 AND 33.....pretty darn good record. I don't always agree with ya, but I'm sure most of the folks and folkettes on here would agree there always fun to read.

P.S. pm me some lottery numbers.  ;D ;D

I'd like to see PURPLE 4EVER start making picks in our pick'em contest. Then we'll see how good he really is. ;)

I agree!  It's easy to pick 2 of the bigger districts.  Those small schools are the tricky ones.  Especially if you live as far away as I do...  ;)

The first week of predictions are posted at...
http://www.toupsgraphics.com/fridaynightlights.html

Enjoy the reading!  If you find some errors please reply back to the post so I can correct.  Wish I had a proofreader.
No matter who I predict to win this season, GOOD LUCK TO YOUR FAVORITE TEAM! and if you have sons or relatives out on the field on Friday Nights, I hope they stay safe and learn all they can about what the action under the lights on Friday in Texas can teach them.  Above all, ALWAYS BELIEVE in the kids!

Actually P4E you had Lumberton in the cellar last year.  I thought they would do better than they did, but they were better than your prediction.  You were not mocked, challanged yes, but not denegrated.  It just read like you were taking personal pleasure in picking them last, which is probably a result of bitter feelings of absorbing the only district loss in the 2 years of 20-4A competition from the Raiders.  I might have done the same thing myself.
I don't hold any grudges from that game, as a matter of fact as an educator I respected the thrill of victory from the Lumberton kids in that game.  THEY FINALLY GOT OVER THE HUMP!  I think you would have to put the Lumberton win over LaMarque above the Dayton win, but when the Raiders beat the Broncos, that has to be on the Mount Rushmore of wins for the Raiders.  Just from what I have seen in the JV and freshmen games over the last few years, the Raiders just don't have the talent they had that year.  That being said, GOOD LUCK this year to the Raiders.

Your right, the LaMarque win was above the Dayton win as far as ranking big wins in the Lumberton's meager history.  The Dayton win had more of a rivalry feel to the victory since Dayton & Lumberton have been in and out of Districts together over the last 35+ years.  One thing is for sure, Dayton's players reacted with infinately more class after that game than did the LaMarque players.  It was quite satisfying to see after the "in your face" attitude that the players gave the Lumberton fans at the start of the LM game.

toups did you get the big hit on the FB QB? Think it was by #12.
It was the first quarter, the QB scrambled and threw the ball, I followed the ball, and barely missed the QB getting clocked on the video.  He must have been really hit hard, took him a while to get up after the pass, which was complete.  FB's offense didn't really make any mistakes in the 1st half.
