What time does JV games across the area start, in general?

Actually Thursday night, Stangs had a good week of practice I think they will play good. Should be a close and interesting game probably decided by turnovers. It should be interesting in how they run the new offense.

I think it's typically 9th grade around 5pm and the JV to follow around 7pm

There has been some WOS players moved up to JV but this is still the core of a team whose combined A and B teams have only allowed 1 touchdown combined over the past two years. AS to who cares? These could be the best 9th grade teams in the area and certainly in the top 5. I know that the Bulldogs have an oustanding team as well. Yes, my kids play on the team, but it should be interesting to see these two teams now and in a couple of years on Friday nights.

Silsbee JV is on a bus right now headed to Houston to play Houston Waltrip's JV.

It's my understanding that Kountze's JV will be playing Silsbee's freshmen team.

Considering its half of our jv(mostly freshman) the other halfis in hull daisetta no I really don't put to much stock in it:-) 14-0 halftime

Nederland came out to play. They are HUGE across both lines. Just kinda wore WOS down. WOS defense was on the field for the entire first quarter except for one play. Mustangs moved the ball well late but not enough. Turnovers just killed the Mustangs. Wished we had half the number of kids that Nederland had. Mustangs had their chances just could not quite put the plays together. Would love to have played this game down the line when we are more confortable with the new offense. Good win for the Bulldogs, they are an oustanding team.

Nederland Fresman defeated WOS 27-14

Nederland QB Sage Seay accounted for all 4 td's. 2 running/2 passing
WOS RB#2 score twice for WOS. 95 yd TD run and a long pass reception.

Great game by two very good Fr teams. :) :)

Dayton does the same things sometimes. I think it has to do with there being Freshman A and B games.

Nederland B got defeated 14-0

Nederland A defeated GC 28-0

Last weeks starting QB was out with knee issues. Backup stepped in and never missed a beat. Defense on this team is very strong and it is starting to look like the special teams is becoming a weapon.
