Ainsworth is my new friend.  About time someone can see the other aspects of the game besides what 'sports experts' say.

I think last weeks game against LM has readied the Jags more than last year. No blowout, IMO.

I give respect where it's due.  As long as that team have Singleton and Holmes, they will be a handfull for any team.  We won't lay down though.  It won't be an utter dabacle (sp) like last year.

@ soulja Our jv would beat you guys. Seriously!!!!!!!! and we can take holmes and sigleton out the line up and this game would still be a 20 blow out. ;) 8)

I think Central has a chance to play with these guys.
This comming from a PN-G fan who probably saw yall first hand against his team in the scrimmage.  Not some biased fanatic.  ;D ;D

As a fan of both programs and without seeing Central play last week, I can semi-project a close game.  PAM did things(coaching wise) that boggled my mind and the fellas who I was sitting with who have kids in the program......

A bad way.  For example, the corners were playing way off from the WR and or bailing on the snap to cover 3.  I always thought one should play man when playing a base 4-4 defense.  And speaking of which, why is PAM running a 8 man front against a Pistol/Spread look?
Maybe because they didn't want Bertrand to get going.  Maybe to have all 5 o-linemen covered and have several other players in position to make tackles on RB out the backfield.  Maybe it was to bait you into abondoning the run and trick you into passing the ball?  Who knows, man.

They could've played 6 in the box and stopped the run.  Bertrand is still tippytoeing to the hole(lol) like last year.  Of course, he did tippytoe to the tune of 1800 yards.  They gave up too many intermediate passes
Soulja why are you listening to him they did not score. Now nelson stayed open all night on the short passes, but he was tackled quickly, now if we take away the refs with the quick whistles that effected both teams when it comes down to everything when decided to run the ball we did! straight down there throats a 70 yd drive. I'm not a fanatic of the game, i'm a student of the game. I just like the direction this program is headed!!!!!
@ SFA yes he should have gone under center on the goalline.
It was a practice.  What does it matter if they scored?  They moved the ball.  That was my point.  I never said that I didn't like the direction they (PAM) is headed.  I actually like it too.  I don't like the many years that people were saying 'why are those guys that combined those schools to make one 5a school in one town with all those athletes are not competitive at all'.  Heck, I was on the PAM bandwagon on their treck through the playoffs.  I was even on their bandwagon after yall smacked us around last year.  It's just that I'm saying that  you are discrediting our team.  A team that have had your team's number up untill last year.

I honestly think Central can hang with Memorial. They must contain Memorials linebackers, they blitz almost every play. If Central can get pressure on Singleton and rattle him they stand a good chance of winning. BUT, they must have a turnover free game and not give the Titans good field position and easy scores.

You're right GOAT.  I felt PAM's overall team speed had the Injuns bottled up except for the short passes and you know we all moaned when they were still in shotgun on the goaline.  Yes, PN-G didn't score but PAM didn't get a first down til the 2nd quarter.  The program is on an upward projection, just a little slower than some of us would like...

While there aren't a lot of (if any) people giving Central a chance, I think this game will be a little closer than what it was last year....

Central definitely has the cards stacked against them with all of their losses from 2010, but they still have Mitchell, who with adequate O-Line play can be dangerous.... I don't think anyone expects Central to shut down Holmes or Singleton, but you just have to keep them from beating you by themselves....

Looking forward to calling this game tonight, I think it will be a fun one!

I think it will be competitive; Central has their strengths and so does Memorial. Whichever team can exploit the othrs weaknesses early will get the Win. Last years win is in the past and a moot point. G Titans
