Truthfully, there is no value in it for the Broncos, it would be a pre-district game and would not help prepare our team for anything.

Probably correct to a certain extent about the difficulty of the game and preparing the team for the playoffs.  There's 2 other pre-district games to do that along with the scrimmages.  Just put it this way....I only remember a handful of games from when I was growing up....all of them were against Liberty except for a playoff game against PA Lincoln.  How long has Notre Dame played Navy??  Yea for the longest time Navy couldn't compete but the game was played every year.  Hence the whole "rivalry" thing.  Crosby may be Dayton's "rival" now or Barbers Hill but they would pale in comparison to Liberty IMO.

[/quote] I also remember the rivalry and there is no question it would be huge and generate a great deal of interest for a couple of years but Liberty is boxed in and will not see significant growth. After 2 or 3 blowouts it would become nothing more than a glorified practice.
