What is going on in class 4A?

Guessing game until they can figure how much heart a team has.It's gonna be a long yr.for pollsters.Some of those losses were to 5a teams and won't effect the polls very much.Game in another class that stood out was 3a Carthage 43-4a #34 Txhs.com poll Jacksonville 12-Ouch.

Games are played on the field with players led by coaches. Polls are written by writers on paper!! ;D I will take what I see by the players and coaches on the field everyday over what a group of writers say. ;D

I agree, but I can't remember the last time so many ranked teams lost.  Especially in the top 5.  Looks like this will an interesting year!

There's no shame in LM losing to Terry.  There's no shame of JT losing to Lufkin.  Just early season slipups.  I bet if Aledo gets S'ville in the playoffs, it will be a different story.

Rankings don't mean squat, I remember a team was ranked pretty high last year, and lost in the first round of the playoffs, to a nobody team.... just saying 8)

I agree. Lufkin is a 5A power house. No surprise that JT lost to them.
