I'm hoping we will avoid rain on Friday.  I know we need help to get out of this drought, but only for the sake of the game I wish this.  A wet field will give an edge to FW.  It's harder to play speed football in those conditions.

it funny that the 50 yard FG was said by one of the posters.i got on facebook and asked one of the coaches about that call in the nederland game and his reply back to me was he hit them at practice most of the time and i replyed you got to be kidding. now on friday its going to be wet  no getting around that

depends on the offense we choose to run and if we decide to play to our strengths. also, if we do get a lead lets latch on to their throats and put the game away like the old wos use to instead of just playing to survive. 

this seems to be a new breed of mustang football and i hope the killer instinct comes back very soon!

there use to be a swagger and an intimidation factor that others schools saw and felt, but not anymore it seems. their opponents knew that mustang football meant you were gonna get four full quarters of pain both mentally and physically win or lose...

maybe its still there and im missing something.
