BADSANTA
Cleveland has been owned by Silsbee! 23-5-2. Sounds like a owning to me. Remember in 1992 when Silsbee ruined homecoming for that ranked team! McGuire, Spearman, and Rhone killed James Driver and the Indians.

They have four seniors on the line, with 3 of them 3 year starters. They are considered one of the best lines Silsbee has had in quite some time. They are the strength of this offense this year. I have seen Cleveland and Ican tell you this, we are young on defense, mostly sophomores, but don't let that fool you. offense looked pretty good this week against CC. We have a group of young men that are working hard together like they should. Nothing will be a blow out or easy. I'm just saying it's going to be a good game. Don't compair last year, when Silsbee still didn't blow out a team that sucked. we had reed that already knew he was going to UT and didn't want to get hurt, so his playing was light, the Ross twins, i'm not even sure what your talking about. One of them was on the side line the entire season with a broken leg and the other, well i guess he couldn't do much with a team that sucked. lol anyway get ready for a good game. Roll Tribe............
good excuse. ive never heard of anyone playing worse on purpose once they have a scholorship. That makes alot of sense.
I don't pretend to know why Reed played hard on one play and just seemed to sit the next one out, but that's what I observed last year. I hope that he does great at UT this year, but his performance last year didn't portend the hard work it will take to meet UT's expectations. Just saying... BADSANTA
19 straight wins! I see why they waited 13 years to put Silsbee back on the schedule. After a OWNING like that I might consider never playing them again.
bjimbo
I will admit silsbee has owned cleveland, the record speaks for itself...that district has normally dominated 22-3a in the playoffs as well but we all know that the last two years have went to 22-3a...Silsbee is a better team than cleveland, no doubt...but cleveland will keep it close...I'm sticking to that! Indian Fan
Wow, thanks for the history lesson. Can't argue with facts, but I'm only talking about Friday. We all will see soon enough, we are the underdog in this match up and that's fine. I just hope we can get a W in that 2011 spot on the list and if we get beat, I hope we are scheduled to play again next year. Playing good teams is what makes you stronger. Good luck to all players and coaches, looks like it will be a wet night.

The all time record between Jasper and Silsbee is 40-31-2, in favor of Jasper. I wouldn't consider that "owning" but they definitely have the upper hand in the series. BADSANTA
Yea I'm with you STiger12! I think Silsbee should give them a heavy dose of a Spearman and Reed on the ground then open it up to Turk and Drake. I'm gone roll with the final s ore as 32-20 Tigers. Reed still needs to work on his accuracy and Silsbee must cut down on penalties and fumbles. I hope I can attend if the weather holds up.
