That just shows you not to put a lot of stock in Dave Campbell. Manvel wins and moves down. Dayton wins against a 5A playoff team without our RB's and still moves down a spot. Tivey beats up on 3A team and moves up. Go figure. All in who ya know.

I think Calhoun has a HB or somebody going to OU.  They are a team to keep an eye on though.

I know Stephenville beat the #1 team and all, so I could see them going from 8 to top 5, but top 3?  They jumped teams that dominated their games and were already ranked higher.

There were losses above us, and the team is still there.  BTW, I wasn't just referring to my Cubs.  Smithson Valley dominated Permian, and they got leaped over too.

In fairness, only Dayton got screwed.  Im pretty sure anyone can beat willowridge, on top of that....They have 4a numbers, so thats not really a 5a program.

with Dayton, i think they should of move up at least one spot.  They are significantly smaller and undermanned in comparison to Elkins.  the win was impressive enough for a bump

In fairness, only Dayton got screwed.  Im pretty sure anyone can beat willowridge, on top of that....They have 4a numbers, so thats not really a 5a program.

[/quote] I think alot of these rankings have some to do with the popularity of a team.. Dayton unfortunately is in the middle of no mans land... not close enough to Houston or Beaumont to get any press or props.  I mean if that were Friendswood for example that beat FB then you better believe there would be press in the Chronicle. Just Saying.. thats MY OPINION

I don't know.  Brenham is an hour from Houston and a hour and a half from Austin.  In fact, the only school in our district that is under an hour for us to get to, is Waller.  Were pretty much out in the middle of no where too.

If you give up more than 60 points in a game, you should not be int he top 25. Check the lowerr classifications for that.
