I agree not sure why they play the teams they do.
Deweyville is A lot better this year than last, older players and A lot stronger you will see this as the season goes on

I heard around 190 range right now, depending on numbers UIL presents it could be 1a for the Pirates next year.

190 is a little low for the high school. The last 2 or 3 realignments the UIL has not changed the 1A munber fron 199. So any number you are hearing the UIL will have as a cutoff for 1A and 2A, we've been hearing for the past couple of realignments. I hope we do go 1A.

People forget Deweyville was in H-D and WH's district for years in 2A. H-D and WH dropped down to 1A and Deweyville stayed. No surprise Deweyville could be coming down to 1A. H-D has about 150 kids, heard Deweyville has about 190.

[/quote] it would be nice to see the Pirates in 1A next season...When I was in high school in Warren during the mid 80's we were the smallest 3A in the state so I know how it feels trying to compete numbers wise week in and week out...

I don't know where you guys are hearing the high school enrollment is 190, it's higher than that. We're going come in around 200. If the UIL doean't change the number for 1A, we will be 2A next year. It will come down to how many schools will be each division when each classificaton is split.

If it's not 190 then what is it if you know? I was given 194 as the number.
