kerusso Posted February 25, 2006 Report Posted February 25, 2006 That doesn't bode very well for Hearne. Newton got clobbered by Kountze and East Chambers. Good win nonetheless.
fredh Posted February 25, 2006 Author Report Posted February 25, 2006 None of those games was do or die games!!!!
fredh Posted February 26, 2006 Author Report Posted February 26, 2006 See I've been in those games where your back is against the wall. It seems to bring the best out of the teams.
kerusso Posted February 26, 2006 Report Posted February 26, 2006 Yes, playoffs have a way of bring out the best and worst of teams.
fredh Posted February 26, 2006 Author Report Posted February 26, 2006 We wanted to skip the season and get to this game all year. It is upon us now. Hearne moves on in one more storied game. Hearne by 1!!!!!
mustangfan Posted February 28, 2006 Report Posted February 28, 2006 i dont really think you can say much about newton, burkeville played them in a game during an open date, and burkeville led the whole game only to lose by 2 or 3 in the final minute, in fact burkeville led by as many as 7 or 8 in the final 3 and their wheels fell off.
SilsbeeD Posted February 28, 2006 Report Posted February 28, 2006 newton got better as the season went on
mustangfan Posted February 28, 2006 Report Posted February 28, 2006 that would be understandable if it was early on in the season. They actually played at the end of district sometime, i wanna say it was in the middle of february.
