would any one care if these guys were 5'7" & 5'8"? only if they could handle the rock & drain 3's. lol!i wonder why these kids didnt pick cy fair, katy, klein, or humble schools?
I do know two are from the Cy Fair area. One 6'7" or so sat out last season for residency reasons and another one is a frosh. Yates has a very good communications program

The 2 new kids for Yates live in the Yates area.

Yates' area expands several hundred miles in all directions, apparently.
Hmmm, it definitely headed towards Beaumont area but I'm  :-X

Pretty much sums it up! Not sure if they have any boundary lines for zoning when it comes to b-ball.  ::)

Funny! There is a 6'7" kid  :-X who lives 8-9 blocks from Jack Yates High. His AAU team sends players to Yates.  His mom  :-X was an All-American/played pro ball overseas, and his paternal grandfather  :-X  was an All-American basketball (I think) player in college. This kid does not attend
Yates.  :P

Dove- In reading all of your posts on the "other" board, it would appear that your are supportive of a system that makes things "more fair" - allowing the poor to have more by taking from the rich- If that is the case, you should be very opposed to any system that allows the good players (the rich) to all gather at a few schools at the expense of the other schools.  In fact, shouldn't you be supporting a system that makes the players at a school like Yates(the rich) split up and be divided among the other "less fortunate" schools in order to level the playing field?

Am looking forward to the "additional comments".  As for social beliefs vs athletic beliefs, I was thinking both would fall under a single value system/belief.
