SHSenior07 Posted November 18, 2006 Report Posted November 18, 2006 Somebody please tell me something about West Columbia. What's their claim to fame?
AggiesAreWe Posted November 18, 2006 Report Posted November 18, 2006 Their running back is awesome. Flannel had 277 yards on 40 carries last night, with 229 of them coming in the second half. He is a big back with speed, lot's of Div 1 schools looking at him. Their defense is starting to come around, playing better. Early in the season they were giving up alot of points but they have been a little more stingy now. The Roughnecks lost to Bellville in week 2, 42-14, but they did not have Flannel for that game. He plays last night, different result, a 27-12 win over Bellville. Kind of obvious who their bread and butter is.
SHSenior07 Posted November 18, 2006 Report Posted November 18, 2006 Ok, thanks Aggies. What style offense though? Spread, veer, etc? What'd they give it to Flannel from?
AggiesAreWe Posted November 18, 2006 Report Posted November 18, 2006 I believe they run out of the I formation, but not sure. I'll check on that.
Silsbee92 Posted November 18, 2006 Report Posted November 18, 2006 Flannel probably going to Missouri from what I hear. But, he is also considering Arizona.
Guest Wildcat 08 Posted November 18, 2006 Report Posted November 18, 2006 If Silsbee's main man doesn't play it will be a long night.
AggiesAreWe Posted November 18, 2006 Report Posted November 18, 2006 If Silsbee's main man doesn't play it will be a long night. Who is Silsbee's main man?
AggiesAreWe Posted November 18, 2006 Report Posted November 18, 2006 Ok' date=' thanks Aggies. What style offense though? Spread, veer, etc? What'd they give it to Flannel from?[/quote'] They run a multiple set, 2 backs split and I formation, plus some 1 back set also. Got this from both a West Columbia fan and a Bellville fan.
SHS-84 Posted November 18, 2006 Report Posted November 18, 2006 Calhoun is a talented player on a team that is loaded with talent. He should be back by week 3 of the playoffs, and the Tigers will still be playing.
Guest Nederland Bulldogs Posted November 18, 2006 Report Posted November 18, 2006 Tigers by 3 in this one.
Guest Kelly Football Posted November 19, 2006 Report Posted November 19, 2006 I say Silsbee by 10. Go tigers
CATS80 Posted November 19, 2006 Report Posted November 19, 2006 TIGERS SHAPE UP THE PENALTIES AND TAKE THIS ONE BY 10
E.S.P.N. Posted November 19, 2006 Report Posted November 19, 2006 Silsbee should win. I say should. One week they play great, the next so so.
Guest TravelingBandsman Posted November 19, 2006 Report Posted November 19, 2006 I have a friend who went to West Columbia ISD before he moved here. That's kinda funny to see them here in the brackets. He's actually there now visiting old friends.
CATS80 Posted November 19, 2006 Report Posted November 19, 2006 DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT SIDE SILSBEE IS ON FOR FRIDAYS GAME HOME OR VISITORS
AggiesAreWe Posted November 19, 2006 Report Posted November 19, 2006 Silsbee will be on the visitors side.
Ty Cobb Posted November 20, 2006 Report Posted November 20, 2006 I have a feeling that Calhoun will play this Friday.
