ForeverADog Posted September 1, 2011 Report Posted September 1, 2011 I had class with Thomas this morning and he said he could play. But the coaches want to give him an extra week of rest for his hamstring since they shouldn't need him.
NorthoftheBorder Posted September 2, 2011 Report Posted September 2, 2011 It appears that we have a pretty deep roster. With all those out we still are in pretty good shape IMHO. Just going to take the coaching staff to pull this team together so that they gel as a team.
AggiesAreWe Posted September 2, 2011 Author Report Posted September 2, 2011 Interesting stat from BE's Chris Dabe:303 lbs: Avg. weight of #LamarU's starting O-linemen. 235 lbs: Avg. weight of six D-linemen used by Texas College last week.
ForeverADog Posted September 2, 2011 Report Posted September 2, 2011 We better triple our rushing TDs from all of last year in this game. ;D

Lamar should have a minimum of 150 yards rushing and not give up a sack in this game.

kingkat99 Posted September 2, 2011 Report Posted September 2, 2011 I wish Lamar the best of luck against Tecas College(not that they need it), but I hope Woodard has more class than Harper at SFA had last night...

Passed the ball 63 times last night (several in the 4th quarter after leading 68-6 at end of 3rd), went for 2 five times (3 of those attempts were after SFA was already leading 25-0). Even though the 2nd team and some 3rd teams played half the 3rd and all the 4th, it was obvious Harper was looking to score as many as he could against a very outmanned McMurray team. Let's hope Woodard has a little more class than that.

Doesnt the back up players get to write home and tell mom & dad that hey, I caught (or threw) 10 passes for 210yds and scored (threw) 3 TD's, not their fault his team was already up by 35 pts when he entered the game[/color]

The solution really is dont schedule a team that is not one but two divisions lower than you with zero athletic scholarships. Play someone on your level or just below that may have a chance to win and you wont have this problem.

Tell the opponent to stop them from scoring.
