Roughrider
GCM has some pretty explosive athletes on that team and I think they will make some noise this year. Good job by the Dogs. We still have some things to shore up on both sides of the ball before district but we should be fine. Should be a good one next week against the bump. I like the way our offense takes what it can get. We worked the outsides last night when the middle broke down and of course we shredded their secondary. I thought our pass blocking was excellent. The defense played well for the most part but we are still giving up to many big runs. Overall i am pleased after 2 weeks of football and we are seeing some glimpses of some more young talent stepping up.
outanup
Id like to see Hopkins get a few more touches, and at tailback instead of fullback. # 44 for GCM is a load, if he was a step faster the game would have been closer.
Guest UHCoog14
If GCM could hang onto the ball it would have been much more than "closer". Just take a look at the numbers. GCM lost starting Sr. FB #12 Chris Cowen during pre-game. Waiting for news on if his ankle is badly sprained or broken.
Razor
...and if a frog had wings, he wouldn't bump his butt when her tried to fly...turnovers are part of the game so don't use it as an excuse, please.
Melancrater
does anyone have the stats for this game?
Guest UHCoog14
They are a part of the game ONLY if you commit too many them. These fumbles were not forced by Ned's over-powering defense. They were just poor execution. They won. No excuses. Just an observation.

liltex
Barnicle game summary says the Goose had 2 fumbles & a int.I woulda never thought GCM would rush for 98 more yds vs Ned than WOS had.
GoDogs27
WO-S probably had more passing yards though. I could be wrong so don't hold me to it. GCM never really did anything through the air and stuck to the ground most of the game. Its a good way to put up impressive rushing yard stats but with only 45 yards passing, it makes you pretty one-dimensional..
