This early in the season you have little evidence to go on, so head-to-head matchups like that one should carry a lot of weight. 

PNG played a horrible team in GP and a good team in Crosby.  Crosby played a great team in Montgomery and a good team in PNG.
The outliers being the Montgomery and GP games, and the most important game then being the head-to-head.

To put it bluntly, it's preposterous to have PNG ahead of Crosby right now.

I was one of the pollsters last year so I can that it isn't easy to rank the teams each week. That said Crosby did win and I have agree that PNG should not be ranked above them. But, it is just a poll that means very little in the long run, really absolutely nothing.

Apparently head to head means nothing to the pollsters on here. West Sabine gave up  77 points to Hemphill and West Sabine gets more votes more than Hemphill. Really? Why is a team that gives up 77 points even getting votes?

It's funny at the beginning of the season i say Crosby plays Montgomery/png/dawson everyone says they lose bye 21 per.

But... 2 of those teams have been in the 3rd round of the playoffs 2-3 years in a row!

Before you knock the breath out of yourself by hitting yourself on the chest let me make a few comments.  First of all, you did lose by 21 to MONT and only beat a PNG team that we know nothing about at this point by one point.  PNG has only played a very very weak GP team and Crosby.  Since you did lose by 21 to MONT is it possible that people were actually wrong about PNG but not about Crosby??  Well see against Dawson I guess! 

Id also be willing to be that if this poll was generated from a site that actually was located around Crosby and main the coverage was 19 4A then half the schools wouldnt even be on this list.  Liberty would probably be in the top 5 and Dayton would have a permanant #1 burnt into the server.  I think this site does a pretty good job of including 19 4a and covering a large area west of the Trinity.  Maybe some people should just be happy their name is on the list!
