ndn2016 Posted September 7, 2011 Report Posted September 7, 2011 What are some good Thursday night games that are scheduled? I'm thinking the weather is too nice for football not to go 3 nights this weekend.

First, of course would be a chance to see what 20-4A foe Livingston is all about although they will probably throttle Washington. Atascocita/Hightower would be a good one as Hightower is one of the better 0-2 teams in the area. Elkins/Clear Brook is a decent one.

BrenhamFan Posted September 7, 2011 Report Posted September 7, 2011 Cy-Ridge VS Langham Creek will probably be a good one.Doesn't hurt that it's at the best stadium around either!
liltex Posted September 7, 2011 Report Posted September 7, 2011 That Liv/Wash game might be a ok game to watch.I don't know about Yates this year except BB but Wash.beat em 14-13 8)

Guest ECBucFan Posted September 7, 2011 Report Posted September 7, 2011 HS ball is always more important that the NFL, but this Thursday night N.O. vs. G.B. is a marquee matchup, and zero travel is required. Geaux Saints! 8)

ndn2016 Posted September 8, 2011 Author Report Posted September 8, 2011 Hey thanks, for all the info. I was hoping for one a little closer and teams more familiar but there is certainly some good ones to see. I am kind of torn between PNG JV and Obama's speech.

[/quote]Yeah, that was kinda why my first response was how far you wanted to drive. Most Thursday night varsity games are in the large metro areas that have 5 or more schools in the school district (Houston ISD, Katy, Fort Bend, Spring Branch, Cy-Fair, Dallas, Austin, etc.). I'd go with the PN-G JV game if I were you.....I have a feeling Obama will have me throwing things at my TV.
