Thursday Houston Area Games
Source:  Houston Chronicle

Atascocita vs. Ft. Bend Hightower, 7:00 pm, Kenneth Hall Stadium, Missouri City
Langham Creek vs. Cypress Ridge, 7:00 pm, Berry Center, Cypress
Houston Waltrip vs. Houston Northbrook, 7:00 pm, Tully Stadium, Houston
Houston Westbury vs. Houston Wheatley, 7:00 pm, Delmar Stadium, Houston
Alief Hastings vs. Ft. Bend Austin, 7:00 pm, Mercer Stadium, Sugarland
Houston Milby vs. Pasadena, 7:00 pm, Veteran's Memorial Stadium, Pasadena
Livingston vs. Houston Washington, 7:00 pm, Butler Stadium, Houston
Houston Austin vs. Houston Scarborough, 7:00 p.m., Dyer Stadium, Houston
Ft. Bend Elkins vs. Clear Brook, 7:00 pm, CCISD Stadium, League City
Ft. Bend Bush vs. Houston Chavez, 7:00 p.m., Barnett Stadium, Houston
Klein vs. Kingwood, 7:30 p.m., Turner Stadium, Humble

A few games stand out.  First, of course would be a chance to see what 20-4A foe Livingston is all about although they will probably throttle Washington.  Atascocita/Hightower would be a good one as Hightower is one of the better 0-2 teams in the area.  Elkins/Clear Brook is a decent one.

How far are you wanting to drive?

You gotta be dedicated, right Grad?  ;)

Many folks aren't as willing to travel as far as you usually do on a Thursday night, lol!

What are some good Thursday night games that are scheduled?  I'm thinking the weather is too nice for football not to go 3 nights this weekend.

I see you're an NDN...and I'm sure you want to watch a highschool game, but wanted to let you know that our Groves 7th and 8th grade boys are playing tomorrow night in Bridge City!

Hey thanks, for all the info.  I was hoping for one a little closer and teams more familiar but there is certainly some good ones to see. I am kind of torn between PNG JV and Obama's speech.

Yeah, that was kinda why my first response was how far you wanted to drive.  Most Thursday night varsity games are in the large metro areas that have 5 or more schools in the school district (Houston ISD, Katy, Fort Bend, Spring Branch, Cy-Fair, Dallas, Austin, etc.).

I'd go with the PN-G JV game if I were you.....I have a feeling Obama will have me throwing things at my TV.

I would have to buy a new TV if I were to watch the presidential speech.
