NederlandFreak2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Report Posted November 23, 2006 Dogs are gonna stomp a mudhole in LC come Saturday! You fellas ready for some Bulldog football?!
-Central_Jaguars Posted November 23, 2006 Report Posted November 23, 2006 Good luck Bulldogs, Just play hard and give it everything you got and anything can happen. Dogs Win 35-31......
jake94 Posted November 23, 2006 Report Posted November 23, 2006 I am excited to see this Rodgers kid play for LC.. He is only a junior and Friendswood's coach says he is the best back he has seen in his 25 yrs. of coaching. Neumann compared him to a cross between Barry Sanders and Reggie Bush. I hope we can at least contain him, otherwise it will be a long night.
Guest Pirate V Ball Posted November 23, 2006 Report Posted November 23, 2006 Honest Prediction..I hope Nederland wins but their good LC 50 Nederland 14
Guest LCM Volleyball Posted November 23, 2006 Report Posted November 23, 2006 I'll say LC 49 Nederland 27
tvc184 Posted November 24, 2006 Report Posted November 24, 2006 There are 229 teams in 4A in Texas. This weekend 181 of them have finished their seasons. Nederland is not one of those teams. It is better to be in the fight and be an underdog than to be a member of the 181 teams that are sitting at home and posting messages about the teams left in the playoffs.
NedDog Posted November 24, 2006 Report Posted November 24, 2006 Good point tvc. 48 teams are still playing for one of 2 championships. That is just under 21% of Texas' 4A teams. I am glad Nederland is part of that group.
TheHill#1 Posted November 24, 2006 Report Posted November 24, 2006 Big ned goes down hard this weekend LC 49 Ned 7 The lack of defense will be the deciding factor in this game, big time
KFDM COOP Posted November 24, 2006 Author Report Posted November 24, 2006 http://www.panews.com/sports/local_story_327215001.html
jake94 Posted November 24, 2006 Report Posted November 24, 2006 It will be a very daunting task this week. But, that's what the playoffs are all about. You get to take a shot at the best teams. Y'all should try it sometime over there in Lumberton, blue.
jake94 Posted November 24, 2006 Report Posted November 24, 2006 All jokes aside, y'all's soph RB is going to be one helluva player. I was very impressed with him.
Guest Luv Ya Blue Posted November 24, 2006 Report Posted November 24, 2006 Thanks. Give us a year or two and we'll be ok with the new coach.
NedDog Posted November 25, 2006 Report Posted November 25, 2006 Conroe Caney Creek beat Houston Furr today, 56-0. They will face Saturday night's winner between Nederland & Lamar Consolidated.
New Indian Posted November 25, 2006 Report Posted November 25, 2006 Big ned goes down hard this weekend LC 49 Ned 7 The lack of defense will be the deciding factor in this game' date=' big time[/quote'] Kinda like the hill#1 did huh? Ned can pull it off if they keep LCs "O" off the field
Bearz Posted November 25, 2006 Report Posted November 25, 2006 Conroe Caney Creek beat Houston Furr today' date=' 56-0. They will face Saturday night's winner between Nederland & Lamar Consolidated.[/quote'] Caney Creek barely got by LC-M. Shows how tough 22-4A is.
GoDogs27 Posted November 25, 2006 Report Posted November 25, 2006 Well Im about to head out for the game!! Come on SE TEXAS!! lets go pack Stallworth Stadium for the Dogs!!
baddog Posted November 25, 2006 Report Posted November 25, 2006 Have to say LC- 42 Ned- 14. Hey, you also predicted GP by 7. Still bitter?
SFA85 Posted November 26, 2006 Report Posted November 26, 2006 Do your homework on LC.. Theres more to it than just final scores, its WHO you are scoring on and how good they are or are not. I know the Houston area and Nederland haters want us to believe LC is unbeatable because it makes them ALL look stronger. I know what the LC scores say. I'm not taking anything away from LC, I know they are obviously a good team, I suspect probably about like Dayton but not quite as good on defense. I really think that they are going to find themselves in a battle for their lives come Saturday night if the same Dogs show up that showed up this past weekend. It could go either way depending on who shows up ready to play. NostraDumbArse strikes yet again..... Did you do your homework on LC while Q Rodgers and Co were up 28-6@half??
Bigdog Posted November 26, 2006 Report Posted November 26, 2006 We were in the backfield on him most of the first half. Big plays on 2nd or 3rd and long killed us.
Bearz Posted November 26, 2006 Report Posted November 26, 2006 Hey' date=' you also predicted GP by 7. Still bitter?[/quote'] Just trying to be realistic. Pretty close on this one though.
baddog Posted November 26, 2006 Report Posted November 26, 2006 Even a stopped watch is right twice a day. If you pick against a team long enough, you will eventually be right. It's not something to thump your chest about because you should remember all the other times you were wrong. Just being realistic.
