I know you have heard the term "bend but don't break" for defense. That was Silsbee tonight. The L-train rolled up 502 yards on 81 plays with 23 first downs and scored 35 points. That was the bend part, the don't break part was Silsbee "D" forcing two turnovers, two punts one was blocked, two turn over on downs a missed field goal then the goal line stand to end the first half.  Keeping Lumbertons lead to one touchdown.  Lumberton spreads the ball around very well, seven running backs and nine wide receivers got in on the action. Silsbee just had 45 plays and 323 total yards. Fokes that's 126 plays and 825 yards of total offense with 84 points scored for both teams. This was as VERY good game. In the second half Silsbee's speed proved to be to much for Lumberton. Oh and one more thing Lumberton kelp the ball for over 30 min. This team will get it right and when they do 20-4A better look out. Keep your heads up Lumberton you have a team that plays with tons of heart. Now for Silsbee, way to keep your heads and take charge. You never gave up and never quit. Great job Tigers. This is a good win. Go Tigers!!!
