Tonight's Beaumont ISD Game of the Week features the Aldine Eisenhower Eagles invading Beaumont to take on the West Brook Bruins.

First, please join me in offering our prayers and condolences to the Eisenhower community over the passing of Al Smith, Jr. who died tragically last week after collapsing during practice.

Eisenhower comes into the game, 1-1 on the season after a 51-7 loss to Galena Park North Shore last Friday night.  The host Bruins of Craig Stump enter the game undefeated after capturing the 2011 Beaumont Bowl with a 20-14 victory over Beaumont Central.

Join Jereme Hubbard and Adam Davis for all of the action from the Carrol A. "Butch" Thomas Educational Support Center in Beaumont beginning with a 6:30 pm pregame leading to the 7:00 pm kickoff by clicking on the following thread:

Looking forward to this game, ready to see if that Bruins offense can improve the running game to make them more balanced on offense.... Last week the passing game was clicking and except for a couple of big plays, the defense was outstanding as well....

Good luck to all teams tonight, and if you're stuck at home or work, tune us in tonight for West Brook vs. Eisenhower!!!!

This has been a tale of two halves. First half belonged to the defense. Second half the offense looked better. But we're still not playing 4 quarter football, yet. Come on guys.....we can do this! Brook still leads 21-7 and just got a huge stop deep in Brook territory.
