As for anyone on this site i can't really say who has been at what game but what i can say is some coaching staff at Nederland was at the Vidor BC game and some of the Vidor coaching staff and players were at the Nederland WOS game.

I went and saw the Ned vs. WOS and was not impressed with the dogs like I was with the Pirates the dogs got lucky in the WOS game.
Pirates are going to win this one!!!

Fair enough. At least you can have a more objective view (hopefully). I think Nederland wins, but I've not seen Vidor play yet. Sounds like y'all are pretty good too. I realize it will most likely never be like a PNG-NED rivalry, but sure sounds like there is some bad blood from both sides. Maybe it will turn into a bigger rivalry in years to come-especially if this 'smack talk' continues. At least it's entertaining  ;D.

Have a close Family member that was at Ned. WOS game, he told me Raines was the real deal, he was not impressed with the Ned. run defense., but he said the pass defense was decent. He told me Ned. looked pretty balanced on offense. That's all I know other than the general knowledge of 20-4A teams that most people have that follow high school in Setx and what I've read and the stats I've seen.

I know that tradition is on Nederlands side in the games against Vidor and that is what it is....props for that, but please don't think for a second that will matter to this yrs. Pirate team when they step on the field

There are just as many things that are not similar that are similar. The BH option offense relies on the option (obviously) and the Vidor slot t offense relies on misdirection. And second all you have to do is compare the running stats.

Vidor's rushing yards - 1067
BH rushing yards - 617
