kellys not ready for liberty their a much more developed team
Much more developed? Kelly returns 18 starters from last year tops in the area. Kelly has played the tougher schedule by far as well. Liberty returns only 5 starters from a defense that gave up 300 passing yards in the first half last year and led to Dakota Eddins winning the Built Ford Tough player of the week. Typical, that someone who has no idea what he is talking about to get on here with no reasoning what so ever. That being said Kelly still has to improve on the offensive side of the ball and cut down on turnovers. Kelly played extremely well on Defense against Bridge City and look for that to continue. Liberty's QB really played well last year even though their was a great number of drops from his receivers. This should be a great game.
If you consider giving up 21 points well then your crazy being that Liberty has given up 7 all year, yes they have had a weak schedule but Porter is a 4A team with a new QB who is commited to a D1 school so they can't be too bad. And who cares about what the secondary did last year? Huntington, and Hardin threw all over them last year and scored a combined 110 points, but this year a combined 0, the defense has improved greatly, the seniors who left the secondary won't be missed.
Liberty hasn't faced anyone on par with Matt Menard, Mark Roberts, and Dishon. Kelly only gave up 20 points to liberty and one of those touchdowns was a pick 6. Another touchdown came after Kelly fumbled the ball on its own 30, so yes the defense played extremely well against a QUALITY opponent. Please don't forget that Kelly scrimmaged Hardin and beat them like a drum as well.

Also think it's funny that when mr. undeveloped was provided with facts he backed off his opinion pretty quick. Where were these two monster running backs last year?

Just wondering where you found that porter's QB is committed to Illinois, because he is only a SO. and I haven't found anything online about him.
actually haven't even seen it anywhere myself but heard from a reliable source, they have 2 QBs the one who started against liberty wasn't the one who played the previous games because he was hurt I think he is a senior but I really don't know for certain, he wasn't great obviously (7 points) but I guess you could see how he could be commited to illinios
Well the chronicle and maxpreps only have one QB playing for Porter in either game and that is Colton Clark a 5'10 SO. I just have a hard time believing he has already committed to Illinois.

Dennis Antoine was the starting running back for Cleveland last year as a freshmen until he moved to Liberty, and back #2 was back #2 last year he got all district 2nd team WR, had close to 500 rushing and 300 receiving.

If Colton Clark has committed to Illinois neither rivals or scout know about it.  There is only about a one percent chance of that happening.
But there a chance of it  ::)  ;D  8)

ok here is my opinion and why...

dennis antoine.. 35 att. for 520yds an 4td's..
jordan jones.. 12 att. for 141 and 4td's..
fregia averages 6+yds a carry and fitz averages 7+ oh, and btw the passing game is the strength..

no one is stopping 6'4" wr mosley in the redzone or on deep balls and jones will torch ya'll again just as he did last year.. and williams is greatly improved from last season.. the d will def. not give up more than 21 to kelly, if that.. they've only given up 7 this year and that td only came because of a late hit penalty at the very end against several 2nd stringers and a few starters.. i know that liberty hasn't played any of the lake travis' of the world and i know that liberty isn't great by far, however holding every team scoreless says a lot..liberty will outscore kelly, period. and the d probably won't pitch another shutout, but i find it hard to believe they'll give up more than 21... ya'll beat em by a score last year and they were terrible..

No one is stopping Mosley? Nick Schrapps is a 6'3 200 lb safety who is a North Texas commit. Who do you think is going to win a jump ball. Also, Brandtley Wilson didnt play last year due to an injury. Can u honestly tell me an all state linebacker wouldn't have made a difference in libertys run game? Once again, where was these kids last year, if they are so good, where are their Div. 1 offers. Please don't be ignorant. Kelly beat Hardin so bad they quit half way thru the scrimmage. I can't wait till Kelly beats liberty

Isn't he a D1 commit for WR though? That doesn't mean he can cover and it's not like he's going to be on Mosley's side all game, and where was Mosley last year? 1 TD against Hardin, 1 TD against Huntington, 1TD against Porter, injured in the first half of Porter for the rest of the year, now this year 5 receptions 3 touchdowns, 1 in each game once again. As far as D1 goes, we have Ryan Melton verbal to Texas State with many other offers and everyone know the QB will go, along with 300 LB DT who just turned 16 last week so he is still young. And if Mosley works at it, the 6ft4 WR will find himself a spot on a D1 team.

aaron mosley is a 6'4" b-ball beast.. btw he's a sophomore an I KNOW he'd win the jump ball hands down!! last year he was an injured freshman.. point? what has schrapps done this season? isn't he playing safety now cuz he got no d-1 offers as a wr? and last time i checked NORTH TEXAS was barely d-1!! is that the best you got? wow.. sun belt conference? and who cares bout this world beater of a lb you refer to.. lets see him stop liberty from hangin 40+.. seriously.. btw melton has offers from colorado, NORTH TEXAS, tulane, utep, utsa.. but he just commited to texas state.. the others are JUST NOW juniors.. guarantee some offers by seasons end.

last year head to head comparison when they played each other

schrapps
7 rec. 75 yds 0 td's..

Jones
10 rushes 89 yd's  2 td's
5 rec. 84 yds 1 td..

i'm sure they're shaking in their shorts.. haha

I would like to see Kelly win this one so the big heads in Liberty could open up their excuse books. There is always alot of ifs in high school football so IF Liberty doesnt turn the football over to many times and IF Liberty's defence has another good game and IF Deel doesnt call to many trick plays then Ill pick Liberty  38 -16 over the Bulldogs.

you've been betting against liberty all season.. talkin mad ish and coming out to look pitiful.. now you wanna jump on their side.. according to you hardin and huntington was gonna smash them, so do you think those teams are better than kelly. your welcomed to continue to root for whoever it is you follow.. lol. but in all seriousness deel has called 1 trick play the whole season.. lets say 2, just in case i sneezed or something and missed one. so off top you have no cred. and who's iffing? where is the basis for your argument coming from? sad to hate on a bunch of kids who've done nothing but make a 360 turn from a terrible year last season.. smh
What have you been smokin'.You need to get your story straight, I have predicted Liberty to win every game that theyve played so far this season,Your one of the Big Heads Im talking about that gives Liberty a bad name.I dont hate any kids and all the ones that go there that know me know I dont hate anyone.I may have no credibility with you but who are you? Probably a nobody that likes to raise a big stink so someone might recognize you. Yes they are much better than last year to which Ive stated several times before. The criticism I give is constructive.

Just would like to clarify a few things for you Dodie.  First, a receiver can only catch what is thrown to him.  Kelly has a new head coach and a new offensive coordinator.  They are running the ball.  Our QB is clearly struggling.  Second, Nick is playing both ways because he is one of the best athletes we have and the coaches want him out there.  Third, Nick currently has another division I offer and was still being recruited by two others prior to committing to North Texas.  I think it is great that you have a forum to be an avid fan for your team.  However, I don't think it serves any purpose to try and downgrade players on the opposing team.

The criticism I give is constructive.

could be wrong but i'm pretty sure i've seen you hating ON liberty.. btw.. there's a big difference between HATE and HATING ON btw, i haven't been smoking anything AND DEFENSE is spelled with a S not a C. so who am i? someone who's a lil bit more intelligent than you obviously..

that makes sense. good post. and the only reason i even mentioned schrapps was because ol' dude named dropped in an effort to downgrade our team/players feel free to go back and re-read. so instead of pointing me out in my response to ignorance, perhaps you should identify the source and start there. i probably shouldn't have stooped.. but if your gonna talk about the kids here i know i'm going to state my case as to why they're better..

I just want to say that Melton looks like an excellent player.  The fact that he chose to go to Texas State over Division I schools is a matter of personal choice.  Too many kids get hung up on the biggest name school and don't stop to think what is the best situation for them.  Just look at all the kids who have gone off to big name programs only to return back home unsuccesful.

for the record.. if i had my wish all the kids mentioned and those not mentioned would all go on to d-1 schools, have excellent football careers and get great educations. let myself get a lil thrown of with some of the comments being made. at the end of the day these are all kids.. i wish them well. i also still believe liberty will win. we will all know for sure friday, God willing.
