I wish they would quit putting a team like Calhoun (Corpus area) in the top 10. Those teams usually don't play anybody to be worthy of the ranking. I think Montgomery or La Marque should be on there before Calhoun.

I would hope that you rush for that many yards when you play CC Ray 0-3, Tuloso-Midway 0-3, and CC Calallen (Which is way down this year) 2-1. These teams are giving up 60 plus points in games. Like I said there is no way they should beat out some of the Houston area teams in the top 10. Every year the AP puts a Corpus team in there and then playoff time thier true colors come out when they meet up with SA area teams. Houston area, Dallas area, and Austin area teams beat up on each other every year. >:(

Congrats to all the teams ranked, however, rankings are more for fans to look at and discuss (and unlike college football) playoffs takes care of the rest on the field....

Calhoun was the Pearland/Lumberton of Region 4 Coastal Bend before this coach came and turn them around for the better....

I'll wait till week #10 to comment,polls will change weekly and we'll see past all the mickey mouse pre-dist schedules and see who's who.You have teams in the top 20 that aren't that good but love to pad stats and scores 8)

Their only weakness is the refs.  Rematch w/ Lake Travis in the making!  This group been teammates since kindergarten.  Line average 300... JAMES WHITES averaging 100 plus in 2 quarters. Only team close in 24-4A is LaMarque!
