It dont get better than Mid County Madness PERIOD! but there is something going on with Vidor and Nederland these last few years that can't be ignored.

Mostly just trash-talk.  Vidor has beat Ned 3 times in the last 20 years. I would compare it to Ned-WOS, we don't like each other and some of the games are close but its not a rivalry.

No offence big dog but I thought we were suppose to be talking about football on this column not weither the Ned, Vidor game is a rivalery or not. All I care about is that there is going to be a game and someone is going to win and the other is going to eat some crow :-)

Evey year when its ned vs. vidor the news goes out to the practise fields during the week and vidor is so hyped up saying its their "biggest" game of the year. nederland on the other hand just goes along with the week like a normal week of practise. no rivalry between them.

This Pirate team prepares for[b] each game[/b] as if it is the "biggest" game of the year.
That's why they are 3 and 0 going into district.

Although I couldn't care less how Nederland prepares for a game, according to you "Nederland on the other hand just goes along with the week like a normal week of practice"...that could just be why their 2 and 1 going into district.
However considering how much you seem to know about what takes place on the two practice fields, maybe you could go coach up the Bulldogs to practice a little harder for the game since Vidor gets "so hyped up" and all when its Ned vs. Vidor.....I mean I know you wouldn't want your Dogs starting out 0 and 1 in district would ya.  ;D  ;D
