You can admit it. We hate Nederland back. ;) ;DIn all seriousness, you won't find a friendlier rivalry or a closer relationship between communities than what you find in Mid-County. I personally think the level of competition between PN-G and Nederland is what keeps the two schools performing so highly. To say that it's the longest continuous rivalry in Southeast Texas and that it's the fiercest in the state, Mid-County folks share a strong bond. LC-M may think of PNG as a rival, I've heard, but I have never seen them as a real rival.
