ozens fastest@1906 Posted September 14, 2011 Report Posted September 14, 2011 Ok seriously.. in order for it to be a high scoring game Central will need to be able to pass. They couldnt get a passing game going against Brook and we all saw they couldnt pass against Memorial and they were behind the entire game. If Green goes out throwing the deep ball like he proved he can do last yr. and like you said he should be even better this yr., Central will have to pass in order to order to keep it close. Question for all, would Ozens' first two games have been a little different if Green would have played, I mean West Brook was shut down for the last 3 quarters, could Green have made a difference?

Since the Memorial game, Jag's running game have been very effective. We dominated West Brook in the trenches and moved the ball effective on the ground. So, you will have to stop us as well. Collier, Carter, and Mitchell can go at any point. I feel good about our pass defense. We've gotten light years better since week 0. I hope we can play solid next week. I do wish Ozen the best of luck after the Soul Bowl. I hope they make the playoffs.
WILL I AM Posted September 14, 2011 Report Posted September 14, 2011 it seems to be mutual respect on both sides of this argument.....and by right it should be. both teams have dominate players......should be like an Ali fight with cosell(sp?) saying DOWN goes frasier..........cant wait till the 23rd to see which team is frasier

BMTSoulja1 Posted September 19, 2011 Report Posted September 19, 2011 I'm interested to know what each team will have worked on or if there were new wrinkles and plays durring the bye week.

atb63 Posted September 19, 2011 Report Posted September 19, 2011 Well, I'm undecided at this point.I think that Ozen has looked better, only based upon each team's performance against West Brook and P.A. Memorial. Both teams must eliminate the mental errors and turnovers.Based upon past history, I give the edge to Central, because over the last couple of years they have shown improvement each week.Whereas Ozen has been inconsistent. They show flashes of being a good team, but it's not consistent.Ozen has speed, and has quick strike capability, but Central is consistent. However, in these type of rivalry games, anything can, and will happen. My heart says Ozen, but my head says Central.Prediction: Central by 6.
bigd92 Posted September 19, 2011 Report Posted September 19, 2011 I got Central in a Close game Central 21Ozen 17

BMTSoulja1 Posted September 19, 2011 Report Posted September 19, 2011 We're not worried. I hope that the big win over Sam Houston (c'mon, are you serious? ) go to your head. We're not an HISD team. I hate to have the Jags have you crashing back down to reality.

And Ball's losses have not been by a lot. Probably one or 2 scores. Central is the team that have put the most points up onthem.

westend1 Posted September 19, 2011 Report Posted September 19, 2011 I thought Central had the better running game and better size. I like Central by 10. Of course, I didn't get to see Green at QB
