Combat will play 2 tournaments monthly spring 2012, most will be at Ford Park with occasional travel. We have 3 experienced coaches who put emphasis on team discipline, fundamentals and preparation for play at higher levels in the future. There will be no drama and no daddy ball and we encourage league play. Players please wear a jersey with a number. If you have interest in a tryout, please contact me, Phil Salter at [email protected] and I will reply ASAP.

KF89
what teams & ages have they coached in those 150 years?
AV8
Off the top of my head and most likely not the full extent... Lew played 4 years of Lamar BB and football and went on to Rangers system in 81. He coached softball for his daughter (teens) and has been privately coaching my son (10-11) for the last year. Lew is well respected by those who know him. Jeff was a coach at Legacy for 5 years(high school I believe) and has had 2 sons(now 10 and 19) whom he coached their LL teams in the past. Eric has 2 sons (10 and 20+) who played league and select and has been willing to lend a hand to any coach or kid who needs help. The 150 year coment was meant as a joke obviously. My intent was to poke fun at the ages of our coaches. I am not a coach, but I believe our staff has depth, experience and maturity that will benefit our kids on and off the field.
