I would like to know that as well.

I really have no problem with how he wants to run his practices, open or closed, but just curious to why closing the practices now.

Could be that he just wants to get to "work". 

No more, "lets shine" for the cameras durring the week.  Lets work, yell, teach, man up, and get rid of all distractions, so they can "shine" on Sat.

Pretty common, I'll be at the 1 pm press conference tomorrow for interviews. A lot of colleges close practice for one reason or another so I wouldn't read too much into it.
