Whats your opinion on the 7:00 PM start times?

21-3A district games will be 7pm, non district still at 7:30pm. There will be some other area games this week that play at 7pm though.

It appears all the schools as individuals want the 7:30 start time based on nondistrict times. Then why as a whole do the games start at 7 for district?

That is a very good question.  Now, if memory serves, some of the district teams did move their non-district home game starts to 7 pm.

Yes looking at the schedules it appears only Silsbee and WOS left start times at 730.

And yet there in lies the answer to your question. Silsbee and WOS were the only two schools that did not want the 7pm games. All the other 21-3A schools wanted the 7pm games.

It was the same for the girls and boys basketball games from last year. Silsbee and WOS did not want the change, the others did.

I don't get 10-2A having 7 p.m. times but 21-3A makes sense because all of the schools are within 45 minutes to an hour from each other.

7:00 IF its a close game 45miles or less. and 7:30 if its an hour + drive.

7pm is better for media, but for kids and fans 7:30 is better...I actually think Sept. games should start at 8pm to try and beat the heat...
