Maybe BISD will do like they did for Westbrook and do a search and take applications for a coach instead of just promoting from within. Maybe a coach already in BISD will win out but why limit the search? Promoting from within has hurt in the past and other schools have made the same mistake. Just look for the best person for the job.

I didn't expect that this season. I thought his 30+ years in BISD would get him another year. Glad he was reassigned instead of dismissed. I'm sure he will still be around on the sub-varisty levels. He did that for years at WB, etc. Good luck to him.

A. Louis didnt lose his job at Ozen over wins and losses he got into a pi**ing contest with the boss and lost. You are right though i dont think he would go back to Ozen since his son is playing at the Brook. I cant think of anybody in the system at Ozen that could take that job over.

we all saw this coming, ozen has a alot of question marks surrounding the future of their program... heard a few BIG names of houston area coaches being thrown around the other day but good luck getting them to come to beaumont...
