Hey, I can't even hear your announcer's and have said nothing to put them down. Having worked in radio and done football reports I KNOW how hard it really is. However, Mr. Stelly. is absolutely the best in the business in this area in my book. I have respect for anyone who does it because they HAVE to love the game. For the record, he is not OUR announcer as he broadcasts EVERY school in Orange County.

I wasn't reply to you, but to Judex.  I have listened to Art Lay for over 20 years and like him just fine.  Isn't it enough that WO-S beat up on the Dogs on the field..leave our announcers alone and let us lick our wounds.  LOL

Sorry man. Wasn't trying to be offensive or partisan really. I didn't have a problem with the homerism which is to be expected. It was just really hard to update people at times based on the way the information was coming across. I have never listened to them before, maybe he was just having an off night.

Lot of penalties on both teams. Just the early season bug. Im sure both teams will be fine. The refs werent exactly "academically acceptable" tonight, but it was bad on both sides. Some of the calls or no calls made me laugh some times. Anyways, great game and good luck to Jasper through the rest of the season. We finally got that elusive win after two heartbreakers now lets win out!! 3 games down, 13 to go!!! 112%

Jasper showed they have no heart, when they got down they quit. It's one thing to get beat and that's fine but at some point you have to play with pride. Jasper has lacked heart for several years now hopefully the new coaching staff will look at who is giving 100% when things are bad, and call out the ones who are not....

Wow!!! The mustangs finally played to their potention at poin ts in this game haha well the defense was terrific all night, only gave up 2 field goals! The offense came alive in the 2nd half, lindsey was simply a beast tonight and the offensive line was very good! If we can cut down on the penalties we will be a force to be reckon with late in the playoffs! The pistol is working really well, just need to work on getting the plays in faster! Jasper fought hard!!! The back #5 runs like a truck! lol Good luck bulldogs and ill see you mustangs in huntsville saturday!!!!

I don't agree with that at all. Jasper was down 14-0 before either team had broken a sweat, and they put a scare into my Stangs in the first half. Both teams got pretty hot-headed there early, but I didn't see any quit - not until it was out of reach. In the end, they had no answer for Lindsey.
