I have a question.. Dayton teaches all the players from Jr. High up to Varsity the same program, is this correct? And BH I will assume does the same thing right? If this is so, how is it that Daytons Freshman can beat BH Freshman by alot.. and Daytons JV couldn't do squat? Can I get some real answers? Not some idiotic answers!
JV is normally kids that can't play varsity either due to skill or depth.
Does anyone know why Dayton B freshman game was forfeited? Dayton had about 60 players on the sideline, certainly more than enough for two teams. BH played the Fresh A team in the 1st half and the B team in the 2nd half.  Final score was Day 36 BH 6. Dayton scored all the pts in the 1st half and made it look easy. Glad the JV stepped it up on defense and won.
We don't really have a freshmen B team--last year we split them up to form a B team just to accommodate BH, had a couple of injuries, so two kids had to play a couple of plays on both teams and someone threw a "little girl " hissy fit about it. That might be the reason it didn't happen again--maybe
Without a B team how do you get enough playing time for all those kids? Seems like a lot of them would be sitting the bench. But I guess your system works for you.

After the 6 weeks grades, most teams do not have enough players to field a B team.

Tyrone sold it to me!  ;D He guaranteed me that it was an authentic registered Dayton Bronco! I asked him why it wasn't Purple and he said that they are born white and then they turn Purple later on! I'm assuming the reason for this is all of the butt kickings that a Dayton Bronco receives through out its life  :'( 8) Any who it's dumber than a box of rocks ,but that thing can RUN ;D

We typically get the back ups plenty of playing time in the 3rd and 4th quarters.

Cheating deservs a hissy fit 8)
Your coaching staff was notified that we split our freshmen team up so YOUR guys could get more playing time. They were also notified that a couple of kids might have to play for both teams as we did not have enough for two teams if someone was injured.----The hissy fit was just another example of your coach showing his backside.

Man this clock is moving slow, kinda like that BH offense.  I m ready for tonight, I hope both teams are injury free and hissy fit free at the end of the night. Should be a great night for football in nice newly renovated stadium. Good luck to both teams, I really think only one needs the luck. Lol the Broncos should dominate tonight, but hey, that's why we play the game.

Could be  Talent? or the Varsity and JV has sucked up more of the Freshman Players than Dayton has. Underclass man scores really don't paint to much of a picture, although Purple forever thinks they are his crystal ball 8) Does the JV score indicate a BH win next year? Heck no, but it does indicate that there is a kink in the force! Can Darth Dayton over come the rebels LOL ;D ;D ;D

Almost game time can't wait!!! BH is about to go Jedi on your arse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
JV - Starting RB / LB moved to VARSITY  Starting DE out.  But regardless the BH JV O line manhandled em and the RBs ran down hill. Bh executed their game plan burning 6-7 minutes everytime they touched the ball. What would concern me as a BH fan is you dominate a game and the score is 8-0  ???  Dominate a game and it could be taken from you with one play  ???  Just dont get it.

FRESH  - scored 30 in a 1 1/2 qrts and the starters did not see another snap......... This group of BRONCOS is the best i've seen come through in a while..............NUFF said

Regardless    congrats to the DAY fresh  / BH JV on the wins .

BH has not shown their offense but in spirts this year.  Denny is a very effective passer and normally makes very good decisions when running the option.  He's been a little off the last week and we didn't throw the ball much at all against Nederland.  If we pull out all stops I think we can play with Dayton.  What we can't do is allow the short yardage passes to the outside and the short slants Dayton likes to run.  We have to just man-up and play tight coverage and understand from time time we will give up a play or two.

By the way, why did that horse Tyrone sold keep backing up to every guy that passed the horse trailer?

The most truthful four words a BH fan has ever spoken.

As for the horse, he keeps backing up because he's missing the way you brush his hind quarters.  I don't know why you insist on trying to brush them with velcro gloves on though. By the way, how's the one act play team looking at BH this season?

    • That should tell everyone something pretty clearly. Does anyone really think BH is recruiting elementary kids, to get them to transfer in Jr. high? Seriously? Here is the "dirty little secret" about BH: Most people move to the district for a quality living environment to raise their young family, and benefit from the outstanding acedemics at BH. Even If all athlectics suddenly disappeared from BH, people would still want their kids in the district. If thats not enough to convince anyone, and BH really was determined to recruit, first step would be to have open enrollemnt. It is closed.        Yes, I get it, no one ever wants to give BH the benefit of the doubt on anything. Some of the accusations are beyond ridiculous though. This paranoia the BH critics are afflicted with is not just sad, its flat out laughable.
    • Opting is always an option. Are they considering any BC assistants? Highly qualified after that season they put up.
    • Be that as it may, only time will tell. Hide and watch. Don’t be surprised if the next HC hire uses his own recipe. That happens more than not historically. I am not arguing the point that Hooks & CT had a winning combination that could’ve been carried over. I’m saying that finding someone to do that is not going to be as easy as one might think. Tell me again why Saban’s replacement, who even has Saban’s assistance if he wants it, just lost another game to an unranked team and has taken the Tide out of playoff contention? Why wouldn’t he just follow the success of possibly the greatest college football coach ever lived?
    • We've acknowledged having 2 HOF coaches hasn't been like most other schools. So why everyone jumps to the conclusion it wouldn't work here is beyond my comprehension. I see it carry over with these other hires. Gilmer, Aledo, North Shore, Austin Westlake. Next man up that continues the system in place has instant success. Matter fact there was 2 rookie HC that won the state championship the same year we handed over the keys. Same book. Same recipe. Better ingredients.
