What gets me, Legacy hasn't played anyone decent yet.  Their ranked 3 spots better than West Hardin who at least beat Kountze who was favored to win by 67% of the popular vote occording to Rykerx's Pick-em last week.

Dude who has West Hardin beat this year that was any good really??? They beat Kountze who will finish second to last in district 10 2A. When they play some legite teams and beat them then you can complain about the poll.

2.  Dayton, who went 7-3 on the regular season and were district champs of 19-4A.  They also went 3 deep in the playoffs, falling to eventual state finalist La Marque in the 3rd round of the 4A Division I playoffs.

3.  West Orange-Stark who went 7-2 on the regular season and were district champs of 21-3A.  They went 2 deep in the playoffs falling to Brookshire Royal, after losing their starting quarterback in the middle of the season.

Soooo... your a Newton fan or Legacy fan, which is it?  Why you so mad dude?  I would have loved to see Legacy & West Hardin play a real game, scrimmage doesn't mean anything, but I wasn't impresed by their team at all.

Behind:

1.  Kirbyville, who went 10-0 in the regular season and were the district champs of 18-3A.  They went 3 deep in the playoffs, losing to eventual state finalist Coldspring in the 3rd round of the 3A Division II playoffs.

2.  Dayton, who went 7-3 on the regular season and were district champs of 19-4A.  They also went 3 deep in the playoffs, falling to eventual state finalist La Marque in the 3rd round of the 4A Division I playoffs.

3.  West Orange-Stark who went 7-2 on the regular season and were district champs of 21-3A.  They went 2 deep in the playoffs falling to Brookshire Royal, after losing their starting quarterback in the middle of the season.

West Brook's 2 district losses were 2 more district losses than these 3 suffered combined.

There certainly is a team, though, that has a legit beef with our final poll last year.  Coldspring #5 in our final poll, who advanced to the state championship game in Class 3A, Division II.

I think any of the teams WH has played would consider themselves legit teams.. 1 A teams don't have the enrollment the bigger more LEGIT teams.. these are kids not NFL

Sorry, the "official poll" is only for SETXsports Mods and Admins to participate in.  But there is nothing stopping a bunch of you from getting your own poll together if you want.  I think someone did it a few years back.
